NonStop Cluster Performance Essentials User's Guide, Version 2.2

2.New Features
2.1. CLIM performance monitoring and reporting
HP Performance Essentials 2.2 includes support for monitoring of CLIM entities and
reports the related metrics. NonStop specific – CLIMAGT, CIPSSRV, CIPMON and PROV,
and Linux specific – CPU, Process, Disk, and Network entities are monitored. Thresholds
can be set for each of these entities and applicable notifications are sent out using the
Performance Essentials notification delivery methods.
2.2. G-series performance monitoring and reporting
Starting with HP Performance Essentials 2.2, Performance Essentials SIM plug-in is now
able to monitor G-series systems that have been configured with Performance Essentials
V02 NonStop host agent. The G-series systems will display all the same entities as its H
& J-series counterpart from the Performance Essentials page, but for the entities: File
Open and all CLIM specific entities, the monitoring will display: “No Data Available” since
G-series does not support these entities. Likewise, all entities can be configured to the
user’s discretion. And thresholds can be set for each of these entities and applicable
notifications can be sent out using the Performance Essentials notification delivery
methods.
