Messages
Cause. The storage subsystem manager has altered the attributes of an existing
object.
Effect. The object attributes that were specified have been altered. If the device is in a
STOPPED state, the I/O process might terminate.
Recovery. The attributes that were altered can be restored with another ALTER
command. If the I/O process has terminated, use the START command to restart the
device.
