Messages
Effect. The indicated process is not launched. If the process is system load TACL,
$ZPM abends. If it is any other process, $ZPM attempts to launch the process on
another processor if the processor is available and the process was configured to run
on that processor.
If the process is a subsystem manager process, applications or other processes that
were configured to run through that subsystem will fail.
If the process was the $IMON process, a process will not be able to go into INSPECT.
Recovery. Check the error returned in the event for a PROCESS_LAUNCH_. If
recovery action still cannot be determined, see Recovery Action Requiring Vendor
Support on page 24-10.
2055: ZDSC-EVT-PROC-PRSTNT-THRES
A persistent generic process exceeded the restart threshold; $ZPM will delay before
the next restart attempt.
