Cause. When a tape file on a TMF labeled tape was opened for input, the requested
tape volume was not mounted.
Effect. The operation waits for the tape to be mounted.
Recovery. The request is suspended until one of the following actions is taken:
Abort the operation with the MEDIACOM REJECT command, if the requested tape
volume is not available. $ZSVR generates the action-completion message ZTAP-
EVT-REJECTMOUNT (651).
Mount the requested TMF tape volume on any free tape device that satisfies the
density request indicated by ZTAP-TKN-DENSITY, if this token is specified in the
event message. $ZSVR generates the action-completion message ZTAP-EVT-
ACCEPTMOUNT (648).
Leave the request suspended until one of the above actions is taken. If the
processor of the requester goes down while the request is suspended, $ZSVR
generates the action-completion message ZTAP-EVT-CANCELMOUNT (649).
Use the MEDIACOM command ALTER TAPEMOUNT or the TAPECOM command
NEXTTAPE to have the TMF Catalog try to find a replacement TMF labeled tape. If
a replacement is found, the old event message is canceled and a new event
message is generated for the replacement TMF labeled tape.
ZEMS-TKN-TEXT Standard EMS token that contains the message text. See
Event Management Service (EMS) Standard Definitions
 on
page 9-9.
ZTAP-TKN-TAPE-VOLUME Subject token that specifies the volume serial number of
the requested volume.
Token Description

ZTAP-TKN-DENSITY Tape density. Values are ZSPI-VAL-800BPI, ZSPI-VAL-
1600BPI, and ZSPI-VAL-6250BPI.
ZEMS-TKN-TEXT Up to 80 bytes of comments that were specified with the
DEFINE attribute MOUNTMSG (provided by TMF). These
comments provide information for the operator such as the
relative length and urgency of the job.
