Recovery. If the tape is blank, mount the correct tape. If the density switch is
incorrectly set, set the density switch to the value indicated on the tape volume. If none
of these errors occurred, check the tape device.
613: ZTAP-EVT-PROCTECTERR
A protection-violation error occurred.
Unconditional Tokens
Cause. There was an attempt to open a tape either for output or as a scratch tape, but
the tape’s expiration date is still in effect.
Effect. The system does not let you use the mounted volume. The tape is rewound
and unloaded. If the volume was specifically requested by a user in the DEFINE field,
the open request is rejected.
