Messages
Cause. The first file is being written to a tape volume on a tape drive on which the
tape density can be set programmatically (5106 or 5130), and the tape density
specified in the DEFINE for the tape is different from the existing tape density of the
volume.
This warning message is displayed only when a volume is open for output.
Effect. Data is written at the density specified in the DEFINE.
Recovery. This is a warning message only. Consider changing the DEFINE.
655: ZTAP-EVT-TAPEMODECHANGED
The tape mode specified in the DEFINE for a tape is different from the existing tape
mode of the volume. The volume’s tape mode is changed to the mode specified in the
DEFINE.
