Tape Process (ZTAP-) Definitions
Table 10-6. ZTAP-TKN-IIO-RIC Values
Bit Position Meaning
<0> If equal to 1, unit power is on.
<1> If equal to 1, tape is positioned at the beginning (BOT).
<2> If equal to 1, tape is positioned at a file mark (EOF).
<3> If equal to 1, tape is positioned at the end (EOT).
<4> If equal to 1, tape is online and ready.
<5> If equal to 1, tape is write-enabled.
<6> If equal to 1, tape is rewinding.
<8:15> The termination status (TERMSTAT) indicates a status error.
Table 10-7. ZTAP-TKN-IIO-RIST Values
Bit Position Meaning
<0> If equal to 1, a controller ownership error occurred.
<1> If equal to 1, an interrupt is pending.
<2> If equal to 1, the channel detected an error and aborted the transfer.
<3> If equal to 1, the channel detected a parity error.
<4:7> All bits are zeros.

<13:15> Unit number.
Table 10-8. ZTAP-TKN-IIO-CHANSTAT Values
Bit Position Meaning
0 No errors were detected.
%100 A nonzero device status was returned. See the previous token, ZTAP-TKN-
IIO-RIST.
%200 The channel detected a parity error on the RIC word.
%400 The channel detected a parity error on the RIST or RDST word.
%177777 The instruction timed out waiting for the I/O channel.
%1xxxxx The channel status is set to the IOBUS control field. (A handshake problem
occurred between the controller and the channel.)
