Messages
Cause. A problem occurred in the controller or channel. An EIO instruction was
issued, and the TERMSTAT returned indicates that the microcode is incorrect. The
TERMSTAT values are:
Effect. The tape drives connected to the controller are inoperative.
Recovery. If the error continues to occur, see Recovery Action Requiring Vendor
Support on page 10-15.
