Unconditional Tokens
Cause. The RIC word for an I/O operation on a 3202 controller indicated an unusual
end. The flag is set in the RIC word by the controller if the drive goes offline before an
operation involving tape motion has finished.
Effect. The tape operation aborts.
Recovery. If the error continues to occur, see Recovery Action Requiring Vendor
Support on page 10-15.
