Unconditional Tokens
Cause. A problem exists in the channel or the controller. This problem just occurred,
because a timeout on the EIO instruction did not happen. An EIO instruction was
issued, but no interrupt was received for the EIO. The interrupt from the controller
never occurred, or the IIO instruction processing the interrupt failed.
Effect. The tape operation aborts.
Recovery. If the error continues to occur, see Recovery Action Requiring Vendor
Support on page 10-15.
