Cause. The disk process reporting the problem was unable to write audit to the audit
trail, or it detected a broken file during backout processing. Auditing on the affected
disk stops, but the disk remains in the up state.
Effect. The disk process reporting the problem no longer performs audited activity.
Nonaudited activity is not affected. Related messages might be displayed.
Recovery. Correct the audit-trail problem or correct the broken file. Then enable the
volume by using the TMFCOM ENABLE VOLUME command.
