Cause. Likely causes are sector checksum errors or uncorrectable ECC errors (on
reads issued to the source “UP” disk drive).
Effect. The revive will loop while waiting for the operator to resolve the problem.
Recovery. Determine what caused the revive error. Once the error is resolved, the
revive will resume.
