Messages
Cause. The controller returned an invalid status response to the disk process. This
error is classified as a retryable, power-fail type, controller global error.
Effect. The effect of this event depends on the error, but the error usually indicates a
problem severe enough to bring down the volume on which the error occurred.
Recovery. If the error continues to occur, see Recovery Action Requiring Vendor
Support on page 11-20.
5045: ZDSK-EVT-EIO-OWNERSHIP-ERR
An EIO ownership error has been reported, and the retry has failed.
Unconditional Tokens
Cause. An ownership error occurred on the EIO operation, and the retry failed.
Effect. The controller is inoperative.
Recovery. See the Guardian Procedure Errors and Messages Manual for corrective
action for the file-system error returned in the event-message text.
