Description of ZGIO Event Messages
Description of ZGIO Event Messages
The low-level I/O event messages are described in detail on the following pages. The
descriptions are in ascending order by event number. The symbolic name for the event
number is ZGIO-EVT-name, where name describes the event that generated the
message.

Information in Event Description Messages
Each description contains the following information:
A header showing the numeric value and symbolic name for the event number.
A paragraph describing the event message.
ZGIO-TKN-PDTCHABORT Specifies whether the last data transfer by the channel
aborted for this PDT entry. Values can be:
ZSPI-VAL-TRUE (the channel aborted)
ZSPI-VAL-FALSE (the channel did not abort)
ZGIO-TKN-PDTCHPARITY Specifies whether a channel parity error was detected by the
channel on the last data transfer for this PDT entry. Values
can be:
ZSPI-VAL-TRUE (a channel parity error was detected)
ZSPI-VAL-FALSE (a channel parity error was not
detected)
ZGIO-TKN-PDTINTDEV Controller and unit number returned from the last IIO
instruction for this PDT entry.
ZGIO-TKN-PDTCHANSTAT Channel status word (which defines a possible channel error)
returned on the last IIO instruction for this PDT entry.
ZGIO-TKN-PDTIOCSTAT Transfer status of the last completed I/O from the IOC for this
PDT entry.
ZGIO-TKN-PDTPIN. PIN of the I/O process for this PDT entry
ZGIO-TKN-PDTLDEV Logical device number of the device for this PDT entry.
Note. Each event message also contains the header tokens listed in Section 2, Header and
Common Tokens, and the tokens listed in the Common Definitions on page 3-5.
