Messages
Cause. The disk process detected an inconsistency in an SQL label whose external
name is ZDSK-TKN-FILE-NAME and whose record code is ZDSK-TKN-RCODE. The
ZDSK-TKN-INTERNAL-ERR value pinpoints where in the disk process the
inconsistency was detected.
Effect. The operation is not performed.
Recovery. See Recovery Action Requiring Vendor Support on page 11-20.
5049: ZDSK-EVT-WRTVFY-MODE-ON
The persistent write verify mode has been turned on.
Unconditional Tokens
Cause. The persistent write verify mode was turned either on by the disk driver after it
detected an error during the execution of a write verify command or a TMDS
command.
Effect. Write commands are now verified for all paths belonging to the controller for
which the event was reported. Performance is affected.
Recovery. If the change initiator is the disk process, then data integrity is suspect.
See Recovery Action Requiring Vendor Support on page 11-20.
