Messages
Cause. The state of the device controller does not match the state expected by the I/O
process at the time the EIO was attempted. Probably a channel or controller failed.
Effect. The operation aborts. ZGIO-TKN-CHANSTAT contains the status of the
transaction.
Recovery. See the Guardian Procedure Errors and Messages Manual for the
corrective action for the file-system error given by ZGIO-TKN-FECODE. If the error
continues to occur, see Recovery Action Requiring Vendor Support on page 3-13.
