Messages
Conditional Tokens
Cause. The process reported in the event encountered one or more data
misalignment exceptions.
Effect. The effects are unpredictable. The program might silently corrupt adjacent
data, compute wrong answers, or make wrong decisions.
Recovery. Fix the data misalignment coding error at the code address indicated by
ZGRD-TKN-MISALIGN-P for TNS mode processes or ZGRD-TKN-MISALIGN-NMPC
for native mode processes. If you are unable to fix the code, for whatever reason, see
the Recovery Action Requiring Vendor Support on page 12-6.
109: ZGRD-EVT-MISALIGN-NOCHECK
The process that checks for misalignment exceptions in current processes could not
run.
Token Description
ZGRD-TKN-XPROCESSNAME Name of the process that has misalignment. It is
displayed only for named processes.
ZGRD-TKN-MISALIGN-P Code address (program counter) of the emulated TNS
instruction (expressed as an octal value). This token is
present only if the misalignment exception occurs in
emulated code.
ZGRD-TKN-MISALIGN-NMPC Code address (program counter) associated with the
misalignment exception (expressed as a hexadecimal
value). This token is present only if the exception occurs
in accelerated or native code. If the misalignment
exception occurred in millicode (ZGRD-TKN-MISALIGN-
EPC is present), the address is a return address,
indicating the point at which the millicode was invoked.
ZGRD-TKN-MISALIGN-EPC Millicode address (program counter) associated with the
misalignment exception (expressed as a hexadecimal
value), if it occurred in the millicode. ZGRD-TKN-
MISALIGN-EPC is present only if it does not contain the
same value as ZGRD-TKN-MISALIGN-NMPC.
