Messages
Cause. Either a controller, device, or I/O process failed. The state of the device
controller does not match the state expected by the I/O process at the time the EIO
instruction was attempted.
Effect. The controller, device, or I/O process might fail.
Recovery. See the Guardian Procedure Errors and Messages Manual for the
corrective action for the file-system error (given by ZGIO-TKN-FECODE). If the error
continues to occur, see Recovery Action Requiring Vendor Support on page 3-13.
