Event Management Service (EMS) Standard Definitions
EMS standard definitions hat have a specific meaning for XIO subsystem events are
listed in Table 15-3.
EMS standard definitions are described in detail in the EMS Manual.
XIO Subsystem (ZXIO-) Definitions
XIO subsystem definitions begin with ZXIO- and are found in the source-definition files
ZXIOTAL, ZXIOCOB, ZXIOTACL, ZXIODDL, ZIOPAS, and ZXIOC. These definitions
are described in this section.

Private Token and Field Types
There are none specific to the XIO subsystem. ZEMS-DDL-MSG-BUFFER is the SPI
message buffer that you must use for XIO subsystem event messages. See the SPI
Programming Manual for more information about the SPI message buffer.

Token Description
ZEMS-TKN-CONTENT-STANDARD Indicates the type of standard event. Value is ZEMS-
VAL-ATTN-NEEDED.
ZEMS-TKN-EMPHASIS Has the value ZSPI-VAL-TRUE for those XIO
subsystem event messages that are potentially
critical. Otherwise, ZEMS-TKN-EMPHASIS always
has the value ZSPI-VAL-FALSE.
ZEMS-TKN-EVENTNUMBER Event number for each ZXIO event message.
