Nonstop Operating System Message
System Event Messages (ZIPC)
NonStop operating system message system event messages are reported to EMS by
the monitor process on behalf of the message system. No other process reports these
event messages.

Event Number and Symbolic Name Description
100: ZIPC-EVT-DET-SEQ-ERR
The reporting processor received an out-of-
sequence ServerNet message system
interrupt packet from the problem processor.
101: ZIPC-EVT-DET-BAD-PKT-RCVD
The reporting processor received a ServerNet
packet that was rejected by the problem
processor. The reporting processor then sent
a ServerNet NACK (not acknowledged)
response to the problem processor.
102: ZIPC-EVT-DET-NACK-RCVD
The reporting processor sent a packet to the
problem processor, and the problem processor
responded with a ServerNet NACK response
rejecting the packet.
103: ZIPC-EVT-DET-BAD-DID-PKT-RCVD
A ServerNet packet destined for a different
processor was received by the reporting
processor.
104: ZIPC-EVT-DET-UNEXP-PKT-RCVD
The reporting processor received a packet
from the problem processor, but the reporting
processor has declared the problem processor
as down.
110: ZIPC-EVT-PATH-DOWN
The message system has brought down the
path used by the reporting processor in order
to communicate with the problem processor.
111: ZIPC-EVT-PATH-UP
The message system has resumed using a
path from the reporting processor.
112: ZIPC-EVT-FABRIC-DOWN
The reporting processor’s connection to the
ServerNet fabric has failed or it has been
brought down.
113: ZIPC-EVT-FABRIC-UP
The reporting processor has recovered its
connection to the ServerNet fabric.
114: ZIPC-EVT-FABRIC-STILL-DOWN
The connection between the indicated
processor and the fabric has been down for
over one hour.
