NonStop Subsystem Manager Event
Messages (ZKRN)
NonStop subsystem manager (ZKRN) event messages are reported to the EMS by the
NonStop subsystem manager process ($ZZKRN).

Event Number and Symbolic Name Description
1: ZKRN-EVT-CONFIG-MISMATCH
A system configuration mismatch has been
detected.
2: ZKRN-EVT-POWER-DOWN
The NonStop subsystem manager initiated a
system power down.
3: ZKRN-EVT-CONFIG-BACKOUT-FAILED
The NonStop subsystem manager failed to
back out a process name from the system
configuration database.
4: ZKRN-EVT-ALLPROC-ADDED
A default ALLPROCESSORS record was
added to the system configuration database.
7: ZKRN-EVT-CONFIG-KRN-ADDED
No KRN_SUBSYS record was found in the
system configuration database, so a default
KRN_SUBSYS record was added to the
system configuration database.
8: ZKRN-EVT-DCT-ALTERED-SMALL
The size of the destination control table (DCT)
was changed to SMALL (32,766 entries) in
the system configuration.
9: ZKRN-EVT-DCT-ALTERED-MEDIUM
The size of the DCT was changed to
MEDIUM (65,375 entries) in the system
configuration.
