Common Definitions
Common definitions are definitions that are used in several (usually three or more)
event messages for a specific subsystem or system component. ServerNet error
handler event messages use definitions from the following sources:
SPI (ZSPI-)Standard Definitions on page 19-6
Event Management Service (EMS) Standard Definitions on page 19-7
ServerNet Error Handler (ZSNT-) Definitions on page 19-7
A general description of these definitions is provided in the following paragraphs.
1058: ZSNT-EVT-INTF-MESSAGE Either an interface error occurred
between the ServerNet software and
the event-generating software, or an
internal error occurred during ServerNet
event generation.
1059: ZSNT-EVT-SINGLE-SYMBOL
ServerNet Hardware detected the
transmission of a Single Symbol.
1060: ZSNT-EVT-IBC-RECEIVED
ServerNet Hardware received an old-
style in-bound control (IBC) symbol.
1061: ZSNT-EVT-SPURIOUS-EXCEPTION
ServerNet software detected a spurious
exception condition.
1063: ZSNT-EVT-DATAPATH-SOFTERROR
ServerNet software detected a soft
memory error on a data transfer.
1064: ZSNT-EVT-CAPACITY-NOTIFICATION
ServerNet software has received a
notification that the ServerNet hardware
is nearing its capacity.
Note. The event-message header tokens are described in Section 2, Header and Common
Tokens.
Note. All definitions are shown in DDL format using hyphens (-) as separators. If you are
programming in TAL or TACL, substitute the circumflex symbol (^) for the hyphens. If you are
programming in Pascal or C, substitute the underscore symbol (_) for the hyphens. For a quick
explanation of DDL, see the SPI Programming Manual.
