Common Definitions
Common definitions are definitions that are used in several (usually three or more)
event messages for a specific subsystem or system component. SCSI module driver
event messages use definitions from the following sources:
Subsystem Programmatic Interface (SPI) Standard Definitions on page 20-4
304: ZSMD-EVT-CTLR-INTF-ERR A controller interface error occurred.
305: ZSMD-EVT-CTLR-MB-STATUS-ERR
The controller mailbox status error
occurred.
306: ZSMD-EVT-CTLR-MB-INTR-ERR
The controller sent a mailbox interrupt
error.
307: ZSMD-EVT-CTLR-ASYNC-INTR
The controller sent an asynchronous
interrupt.
308: ZSMD-EVT-CTLR-SVT-ERROR
The processor’s first attempt to access the
controller resulted in a ServerNet error.
309: ZSMD-EVT-CTLR-HW-ERR
The controller had a hardware error.
310: ZSMD-EVT-CTLR-DMA-ERR
The controller had a direct memory
access (DMA) error.
311: ZSMD-EVT-CTLR-INTR-ERR
The controller sent an interrupt with an
error.
312: ZSMD-EVT-CTLR-EXCESS-INTR
The controller caused too many interrupts.
313: ZSMD-EVT-CTLR-EXCESS-SVNET-ERR
The error caused too many ServerNet
errors.
314: ZSMD-EVT-CTLR-SVNET-HNDL-ERR
The module driver cannot get a unique
ServerNet handle from the controller
during an attempt to access the processor.
315: ZSMD-EVT-CTLR-FW-CHECK-ERR
A controller verify checksum command
resulted in an error during a controller
down.
992: ZSMD-EVT-CMD-ABORT
A SCSI command aborted by the module
driver, the controller or a device.
993: ZSMD-EVT-CMD-ABORT-ON-REQUEST
A SCSI command has been aborted on
request from the input/output process
(IOP).
