A reconnect request (RCI) was sent but no device controller responded to the
reconnect poll.
Unconditional Tokens
Cause. The controller requesting initial data transfer failed to respond to the initial data
transfer protocol.
Effect. The channel is unable to identify the failing component in this situation. If this
condition persists, the operating system brings down the channel.
Recovery. If the error continues to occur, see Recovery Action Requiring Vendor
Support on page 3-13.
