Locating System Components in an Enclosure
Locating the Group ID Switches
Group identification for a system enclosure is set with two group ID switches, located
on the inside of the enclosure, on the appearance side near the fans. See Figure 2-7.
Both group ID switches in an enclosure must display the same value. The service
processors (SPs) read the switches when the enclosure is powered on and monitor
them for changes.
