Comparing the Tetra 8 and Tetra 16 Topologies
Comparing the Tetra 8 and Tetra 16 Topologies
A system that contains more than eight processors must be configured as a Tetra 16
topology. However, a system that contains eight processors or fewer can be configured
as either a Tetra 8 topology or a Tetra 16 topology.
Depending on how you use your system, one topology is likely to be more efficient
than the other for your needs. Because you cannot change the topology of your
system online, you should choose the topology carefully to avoid planning a system
outage later.
