Power-On Cables
Use the following worksheets to calculate the length of the ServerNet cable you need:
Refer to Appendix A, Part Numbers. If no cable is exactly the length you need, always
choose the next longer cable.
Power-On Cables
External power-on cables connect all system enclosures in a system together in series,
enabling the system to be powered on from a single point.
Power-on cables are 4-wire cables with RJ-11 connectors, and they are attached to all
the PMF CRUs and IOMF CRUs in a system. The procedures for connecting the
power-on cables are discussed in the NonStop S-Series Hardware Installation and
FastPath Guide.
