Not all enclosures in the added block powered on after you pressed the power-on
button, possibly from Step 9. Power On Enclosure on page 6-17.

disconnected.

shows the location of the power-on cables.
The NonStop S-Series Hardware Installation and FastPath Guide
describes the procedure for adding power-on cables between
enclosures.
When you add power-on cables to enclosures, each enclosure
must have a way to send the power-on signal to the next
enclosure.
After you verify the power-on cabling, press power-on buttons
again in all nonfunctional PMF CRUs and IOMF CRUs. Return to
Step 9. Power On Enclosure
on page 6-17.
