15 Installing and Migrating to the comForte MR-Win6530
Terminal Emulator (T0819AAQ)
This chapter describes:
• Installing the comForte MR-Win6530 terminal emulator
• Using the comForte MR-Win6530 terminal emulator
• Converting OutsideView session files to MR-Win6530 format
The MR-Win6530 is the terminal emulator launched by OSM Low-Level Link (LLL) versions T0633AAT
and later for startup TACL and event stream windows (older LLL versions launch OutsideView). This
sequence must be followed to install and use these products:
1. You must install MR-Win6530 before installing the OSM Low-Level Link T0633AAT (or later).
2. You must install OSM Low-Level Link T0633AAT (or later) before starting MR-Win6530.
3. You must start MR-Win6530 once before using OSM Low-Level Link T0633AAT (or later).
Install or Update the MR-Win6530 Terminal Emulator (T0819AAQ)
Installation Steps
1. Open the comForte MR-Win6530 folder on the NSC DVD.
2. Double-click MRWIN.EXE. Files are extracted, and a system requirement check is performed.
The Welcome to the Setup Wizard window appears:
3. Click Next. The license agreement appears.
4. Review the license agreement. Click Yes.
5. The Choose Destination Location window appears. Click Next.
6. The Choose Program Folder window appears. Click Next.
7. The Setup Status window appears. Files are transferred.
8. The Install Shield Wizard Complete window appears with the option to review the Readme
file. Click Finish.
