1. Log On to the NonStop System on page 1-6

1. Log On to the NonStop System

Log on to a TACL session.

Later in the procedure, you will also need access to an OSS prompt.

2. Extract Files

The T2806PAX file contains the NSM/web installation files and is located in the

ZOSSUTL directory. If the OSS option has not been selected in the Planner Interface,

run COPYOSS or PINSTALL, as described in the OSS Management and Operations

Guide, to install the required files in the OSS file system:

$SYSTEM ZOSSUTL 1> copyoss T2806pax

Note. You can have multiple installations of NSM/web on a single system. However, for each

installation, you must specify a different path of OSS, Web, and Guardian directories.

Note. Any Guardian user can install NSM/web. However, initially, only the super ID (255,255)

can start the NSM/web Pathway environment, as indicated in 14. Starting NSM/web and

Verifying Installation on page 1-13. After installing NSM/web, you must start the environment to

verify installation and use NSM/web.
