13. Log On and Verify the Installation
Start the Web server and activate a link to the IP address specified in Step 11 (not the
DNS name), in the format:
http://ip-address/NSMweb/lobster/NSMweb.html.
For example, if you installed NSM/web in the location
/usr/tandem/webserver/root/NSMweb/lobster on a system at the IP address
12.34.56.78, you would activate a link to:
http://12.34.56.78/NSMweb/lobster/NSMweb.html
Add this address to your favorites list.
The installation is successful when the screen includes the logon button and the root of
the tree that points to a system. See Figure 2-1.
Note that the system name appears only after you have logged on. After NSM/web is
successfully installed, you can remove the installation files.
