Security Considerations
A server encounters an error.
The user attempts to switch to a different subsystem (for example to SQL/MX,
MXCS, or Tools).
Security Considerations
When logged on, the user has access privileges to all objects under the user ID that
was specified at logon time, based on SQL/MX and MXCS rules.
When performing SQL/MX tasks, the user who creates a catalog or schema is the
owner of the catalog or schema and of objects created under them. To create objects,
users must have the appropriate SQL/MX permissions.
When performing MXCS subsystem tasks, users have the privileges granted by the
system administrator (which is only the super ID when NSM/web is first installed). To
grant permissions to other user IDs, log on as the super ID and grant the permissions.
Each connection can process only one user ID. If you are logged on with one user ID
and you want to log on with a different user ID, do one of the following:
Log off and then log on using the other user ID.
Start another browser and make a connection using a different user ID.
Using the NSM/web Online Help
To access the NSM/web online help, click Help when it appears on any NSM/web
screens.
Uninstalling NSM/web (T2806ABA Is Not
Installed)
If T2806ABA is not installed on a NonStop system, you can uninstall NSM/web only by
removing the NSM/web files in the three installation directories:
Directory for the Web files (for example,
/usr/tandem/webserver/root/NSMweb/lobster)
Directory for the CORBA executables and startup/stop scripts (for example,
/usr/tandem/NSMweb/lobster)
Directory that contains Guardian file types (for example, /G/system/lobster)
Remove the files by entering OSS and Guardian commands.
