HP recommends that you restart the PC before you use the ODBC/MX client interface.
Troubleshooting
You can repair the ODBC client installation when the Windows Registry or a necessary
ODBC file becomes corrupted, or a file is deleted by mistake.
Step 1: Begin Client Installation Again
Perform Client Installation Step 1.
Step 2: Select Repair Option
When the InstallShield detects a reinstallation, it displays a screen as follows.
Note. Before using the client interface, the MXCS service must be started. For information on
how to start the service, see the SQL/MX Connectivity Service Manual.

Adds and removes ODBC components. See Select

Click Repair to reinstall the ODBC files and repair your
system.
Uninstalls the client program
Finish Finish Performs installation cleanup and exits the installation.

This screen displays only if rebooting your system is
required. Click Yes to automatically reboot your system
now. If you click No, you must reboot your system later
for the repair changes to take effect.
