State Conventions
State Conventions
The OEM acts as a shared repository of state information for monitored objects. As
such, each client must use an identical state reporting scheme to ensure that accurate
information is reflected in the OEM and enterprise management frameworks.
Client applications that use the OEM should adopt the following state reporting model:
State Meaning
1 Exists, no state information is known
2 Up or OK
3Low Usage
4 Medium Usage
5 High Usage
6 Warning
7 Critical
8Down
9 State Degradation
