NAME
fetestexcept - Raises floating-point exception flags
LIBRARY
H-series and J-series native Guardian processes: $SYSTEM.ZDLLnnn.ZCREDLL

SYNOPSIS
#include <fenv.h>
int fetestexcept(
int excepts);
PARAMETERS
excepts Specifies the floating-point exception flags that are to be queried.
DESCRIPTION
The fetestexcept( ) function determines which of a specified subset of the floating-point excep-
tion flags are currently set.
The excepts parameter can be constructed as a bitwise OR of the exception macros:
FE_INEXACT, FE_DIVBYZERO, FE_UNDERFLOW, FE_OVERFLOW, and
FE_INVALID. FE_ALL_EXCEPT represents all the floating-point exceptions.
NOTES
This function is implemented only for the IEEE_float oating-point option. Applications using
this function cannot be compiled if the specified floating-point option is Tandem_float.
RETURN VALUES
The fetestexcept( ) function returns the value of the bitwise OR of the exception macros
corresponding to the currently set floating-point exceptions included in the excepts parameter.
