NAME

LIBRARY
H-series and J-series native Guardian processes: $SYSTEM.ZDLLnnn.ZCREDLL

SYNOPSIS
#include <fenv.h>
int feupdateenv(
const fenv_t *envp);
PARAMETERS
envp Points to an object set by a call to fegetenv( ) or feholdexcept(), or equals the
macro FE_DFL_ENV.
DESCRIPTION
The feupdateenv( ) function saves the currently raised floating-point exceptions in its automatic
storage, installs the floating-point environment represented by the object pointed to by the
parameter envp, and then raises the saved floating-point exceptions.
The feupdateenv( ) function can be used with the feholdexcept( ) function to hide spurious
floating-point exceptions.
NOTES
This function is implemented only for the IEEE_float floating-point option. Applications using
this function cannot be compiled if the specified floating-point option is Tandem_float.
RETURN VALUES
The feupdateenv( ) function always returns 0 (zero), indicating that all the actions were success-
fully completed.
