Recovery. If error 43 is reported, make more space available on the volume or
designate a new volume. The volume used for the extended swap file is determined by
the setting of the SWAP attribute of the =_DEFAULTS DEFINE when the OSS Monitor
($ZPMON) is started.
Positive error numbers other than 43 might indicate a more serious error with the disk
volume containing the extended swap file for the OSS sockets local server. See the
Event Management Service (EMS) log for disk operation messages that occurred
before this message and follow the recovery procedures listed.
If a negative number is reported, the processor in which the process was running
cannot accommodate the larger extended segment. Stop unneeded processes in the
processor or move the OSS sockets local server to another processor.
19
server-name
is the server name of the OSS name server reporting the error.
ls-name
is the server name of the failed OSS sockets local server.
Cause. The OSS name server server-name cannot communicate with the OSS
sockets local server ls-name. Either the processor where the OSS sockets local
server process is running is no longer available or the OSS sockets local server has
stopped.
Effect. That OSS name server treats all AF_UNIX sockets associated with that OSS
sockets local server as closed.
Recovery. Reload the processor, if necessary. Use the Subsystem Control Facility
(SCF) START SERVER command to start a new OSS sockets local server.

process-name
is the process name of the OSS name server that generated the event.
fileset-number
is the fileset number of the fileset whose mount-point pathname is being
propagated.
