volume_name
identifies the disk volume where the file cannot be created.
error_number
indicates the Guardian error number returned by the underlying FILE_CREATE_
procedure call. For more information about this error, refer to the Guardian
Procedure Errors and Messages Manual.
Cause. The OSS Monitor cannot create a necessary temporary file.
Effect. The OSS Monitor terminates.
Recovery. Determine why the error is occurring, correct the problem, and restart the
OSS Monitor.

filename
is the alternate key file name (ZOSSFS00 or ZOSSFS01).
Cause. The OSS Monitor could not reload its fileset configuration file, indicated by
filename, from the $SYSTEM.ZOSSMON subvolume.
Effect. You might not be able to start some filesets. Server startup is not affected.
Recovery. Use the File Utility Program (FUP) to reload the alternate key files. If that
fails, restore backup copies of ZOSSFSET, ZOSSFS00, and ZOSSFS01.
