a. At the TACL prompt, enter:
SCF
SCF displays its prompt, a right arrow (->).
b. At the SCF prompt, make the D40 OSS Monitor the default object for SCF
commands by entering:
ASSUME $ZPMON
c. At the SCF prompt, create the log file by entering:
LOG logfile !
logfile
specifies the file to which commands and output are written. If logging is
already in progress and you specify a different file for the SCF log, the
current log file is closed and logging begins to the new file. If logfile
specifies a Guardian disk file and the file does not exist, an EDIT file is
created.
!
causes the specified file to be purged if it already exists and a new file of
the same name to be created.
d. At the SCF prompt, log the current fileset, server, and subsystem
configurations by entering:
INFO FILESET *, DETAIL
INFO SERVER *, DETAIL
INFO SUBSYS $ZPMON, DETAIL
2. Stop all filesets and then stop the D40 OSS Monitor process, as follows:
a. At the SCF prompt, enter the following SCF command:
STOP FILESET *
b. Stop the D40 OSS Monitor process by doing one of the following:
If the D40 OSS Monitor is running as a normal process, enter the following
at the TACL prompt:
STOP $ZPMON
If the D40 OSS Monitor is running as a persistent process, enter the
following at an SCF prompt:
STOP PROCESS $ZZKRN.#ZPMON
3. Create the ZPCONFIG file as follows:
If the ZXCONFIG file still exists, use a text editor to determine whether that file
describes the current fileset configuration (check its contents against the log
