This guide supports G06.27 and H06.03 and all subsequent G-series and H-series
release version updates until otherwise indicated by its replacement publication.

This guide replaces the guide with part number 520569-010 for G-series systems and
includes information for H-series systems.
Figure 2-3 on page 2-16 and Figure 4-6 on page 4-40 were corrected to comply with
Genesis change request 10-050606-8360.
The description of DSAP use for backup was corrected in Creating a pax Backup of
OSS Files in the Guardian File System on page 6-20 to resolve Genesis solution 10-
050408-6471.
Controlling Reference Page Searches and Display on page 9-4 was added to provide
information about the behavior of the OSS man command when the MANPATH
environment variable is not set.
A new EMS message, resolving Genesis solution 10-040423-5363, was added to
Appendix A, Messages.
Appendix B, Manually Setting Up an OSS Environment, was modified to indicate that
the default selection for DSM/SCM management of OSS files is checked on H-series
systems and unchecked on G-series systems.
