MSGMSIZE msgmsize
is the maximum number of bytes allowed for a message. Valid values are in the range 1
through:
• 32000 – Prior to the J06.17/H06.28 RVUs.
• 2000000 (~2 MB) – Beginning with the J06.17/H06.28 RVUs.
This parameter is displayed only for the OSS message-queue server.
BackupCPUOK choice
specifies whether the server can be started in its backup processor during a restart when its
primary processor is unavailable. Valid values are TRUE or FALSE.
MaxWaitTime seconds
specifies the number of seconds that the OSS Monitor waits for the server’s primary processor
to become available during an automatic restart. Valid values are 0 through 600.
DesiredState state
specifies the desired state of the server after the next time the automatic startup service is used.
Valid values are STARTED or STOPPED.
AutoRestart tries1
specifies the number of times that the OSS Monitor attempts to restart the server when the
automatic startup service is used. Valid values are 0 through 10.
PersistenceCount tries2
specifies the number of times that the OSS Monitor actually restarted the server during the
previous 10 minutes.
SEEPENABLED status
indicates whether the OSS SEEP needs to be running or not.
SEEPParams include the following OSS SEEP attributes of the OSS name server:
SEEPRESPONSETIMEOUT nseconds
indicates the number of seconds that the OSS name server waits for the OSS SEEP to
respond to an authorization request.
SEEPPRI priority
indicates the priority at which the OSS SEEP runs.
SEEPPROCESSNAME process-name
indicates the name of the OSS SEEP.
SEEPSWAPVOL swap-name
indicates the swap volume or file name for the OSS SEEP.
SEEPCPU cpu-number
indicates the CPU in which the primary OSS SEEP runs.
SEEPPROGFILENAME prog-filename
indicates the name of the Guardian local file containing the Guardian program for the
OSS SEEP.
SEEPPARAMTEXT startup-param-text
indicates the startup parameter text in the startup message sent to the OSS SEEP.
Example Report for the OSS Name Server, #ZPNS
To obtain a configuration report of the OSS name server, #ZPNS, and send the report to the
CMDLOG file, enter the following SCF command:
INFO /OUT CMDLOG/ SERVER $ZPMON.#ZPNS, DETAIL
