Effect
The OSS Monitor process terminated abnormally with the SPI error code value -33. The OSS
environment is not available.
Recovery
Restart the OSS Monitor with the process name $ZPMON:
OSSMON /NAME $ZPMON, TERM $ZHOME, NOWAIT/
This version of OSSMON only runs on Himalaya S Series servers
Cause
The version of the OSS Monitor is G09 or later and the system is an HP NonStop K-series system
(release versions D4x).
Effect
The OSS Monitor process issues the error message on its home terminal and terminates.
Recovery
Restore the previous version of the OSS Monitor.
Unknown keyword specified on the command line
Cause
The OSS Monitor does not recognize a keyword specified as a parameter on the command line
during startup. This most commonly indicates a typographical error.
Effect
The OSS Monitor terminates.
Recovery
Restart the OSS Monitor using a corrected keyword in its command line.

OSS E00001 Internal error
Cause
The OSS Monitor has detected a serious internal error during the execution of a Subsystem
Control Facility (SCF) command.
Effect
The OSS Monitor stops processing the command.
Recovery
Check the Event Management Service (EMS) log for related messages. Contact your service
provider and provide all relevant information as follows:
• Description of the problem and accompanying symptoms
• Details from the message or messages generated
• Supporting documentation such as EMS logs, trace files, and a processor dump, if applicable
If your local operating procedures require contacting the Global Customer Support Center
(GCSC), supply your system number and the numbers and versions of all related products as
well.
