RUN [\system.]$SYSTEM.ZOSSNFS.PCNFSD
[ / run-option [ , run-option ]... / ]
[ param [ , param ]... ]
PARAM ZPCD^HOME^DIRECTORY user-home-directory
specifies the default root directory for all users’ directories. If supplied, it must specify a valid,
existing OSS NFS directory. If not supplied, the default directory is /home.
PARAM ZPCD^SPOOL^DIRECTORY spool-directory
specifies the default root directory for spool directories. If supplied, it must specify a valid,
existing OSS NFS directory. If not supplied, the default directory is /var/spool/pcnfs.
PARAM ZPCD^SPOOL^SUPERVISOR spool-supervisor
specifies the name of the spooler supervisor process in Guardian format. If supplied, it must
specify a valid process name corresponding to a spooler supervisor process. If not supplied,
the default process name is $SPLS.
PARAM ZPCD^SPOOL^COLLECTOR spool-collector
specifies the name of the spooler collector process in Guardian format. If supplied, it must be
a valid process name corresponding to a spooler collector process. If not supplied, the default
process name is $S.
run-option
is a valid TACL run option, as described in the TACL Reference Manual. The significant run
options for the PCNFSD process are:
CPU primary-processor
specifies the primary processor where the PCNFSD process is to run. primary-processor
is an integer in the range 0 through 15. If this run option is omitted, the process runs in the
same processor as the initiating TACL process.
IN PCNFSD-config-file
specifies the name of the PCNFSD configuration file containing entries of all printers
available to clients through PCNFSD. This file is described in “Considerations” (page 51).
This run option must specify a permanent device. If no IN parameter is supplied, no spooling
services are available.
NOTE: Start the PCNFSD process with IN, OUT, and TERM run options that refer to
permanent devices. If any of these options are specified as a Telserv dynamic terminal,
after that terminal's session ends, PCNFSD will not be able to start any processes.
NAME process-name
specifies the process name that the process should use. The process name is usually
$PCDn[n], where n[n] is one of these:
• For conventional NonStop TCP/IP, the number for the associated NonStop TCP/IP
stack.
• For NonStop TCP/IPv6, the 4th and 5th characters of the TCP6SAM process name.
• For Parallel Library TCP/IP, the 4th and 5th characters of the TCPSAM process name.
If NAME process-name is not supplied, a unique name is created. The actual name of
the PCNFSD process is not significant to the OSS NFS subsystem, but it is a good idea to
relate the name of this process to the name of the conventional NonStop TCP/IP process,
NonStop TCP/IPv6 process, or the TCP6SAM process on which it is running.
