ENV Species the path used to nd the script to be executed when the shell is
invoked.
EXINIT Provides a start-up list of commands read by the vi utility.
EXIT_ON_ERROR
Indicates whether dce_cong exits in the event of a fatal error.
Valid values are:
y Indicates that dce_cong exits when it encounters a fatal error
n Indicates that dce_cong does not exit when it encounters a
fatal error
The default is n.
This variable can help prevent a "here" le from getting out of sync with
dce_cong.
FCEDIT Species the default editor used for the fc command.
FPATH Species the search path used for shell function denitions.
Guardian PARAMs
Specify the names and values of Guardian environment PARAMs, as known to
the osh command. The names and values are converted from the Guardian
environment PARAM names and values. See the osh(1) reference page for
details.
HISTFILE Species the pathname of the le used by the shell to store the command history.
HISTSIZE Species the number of previously entered commands accessible to the shell.
HOME Provides a users login directory.
HOST_NAME_IP
Species the IP address of the virtual host on which dce_cong is running.
IFS Species the internal eld separators used in shell scripts.
JAVA_HOME Species the pathname for the most current installed version of the NonStop
Java Server environment.
KEYSEED Species the character string used to seed the random key generator to create the
master key for the master database and each slave database. Each database has
its own master key and keyseed. Used in security server conguration by the
dce_cong command.
LANG Sets the locale to be used for all categories, unless overridden by LC_ALL,
LC_COLLATE, LC_CTYPE, LC_MESSAGES, LC_MONETARY,
LC_NUMERIC,orLC_TIME environment variables. The LANG and LC_*
environment variables can each have one of these values:
C For the C locale
POSIX For the POSIX locale
