Limitation of PUT_WRITEUPDATEX() to the same record

Five is the maximum number of times a PUT_WRITEUPDATEX() call can be

executed to the same record on tape.

RETURN VALUES

The PUT_WRITEUPDATEX() function returns 0 (zero) upon successful completion. Other-

wise, this function returns a nonzero Guardian ﬁle-system error number that indicates the out-

come of the operation.

ERRORS

None. This function does not set the errno variable.
