19.2.2 Displaying Clerk and Server Attribute Information
To show the values of the attributes associated with clerk and server entries in the cell
namespace, you must use cdscp. The basic syntax of the cdscp show command is as
follows:
show entity-type entity-name
where entity-type is the type of CDS object about which you want to display information,
and entity-name is a complete directory specification terminating with a simple name
(that is, the full CDS name) of the object about which you are inquiring.
To use the show command, you must have read permission to the CDS name that you
want to display.
You are not permitted to use wildcard characters in the simple names of clerks and
servers on the show command line.
In the following example, the show command displays the current values of all attributes
that are associated with the local clerk:
cdscp> show clerk
The returned display is as follows:
