5. Type 1 if the cache is in memory or 2 if is is stored on the local disk and press

<RETURN>.

The dce_conﬁg script starts the dfsbind daemon:

Enter the RAM size of the cache (10000):

6. Type the cache size and press <RETURN>.

The dce_conﬁg script starts the dfsd daemon and returns the DCE Conﬁguration

Menu.

8.11 Conﬁguring Auditing

If you wish to conﬁgure the DCE Auditing facility, type 9 and press <RETURN> at

the DCE Conﬁguration Menu.

The dce_conﬁg script displays:

The dce_conﬁg script adds an entry for Auditing in the /etc/rc.dce ﬁle and starts the

Audit daemon. It may also use the dcecp program to install default ﬁlters for auditing

DTS, the Security Service, and the Auditing Service itself.
