F.8.0 Guidance for Completion

Note on D Column

A “parameter sending” item is marked as not-mandatatory (“o”) if this feature:

•

either is attached to a not-mandatory protocol mechanism

•

or reflects free SS-user choices

Note (N1) : User-Data-Like Parameters

The value to be completed is the maximum length of the SS-user data parameter for the

corresponding SS-primitive given in clause F.8. This value is applicable whether the

segmentation is used or not.

Note on Value Column

If the Session protocol implementation imposes any constraints on the parameters, these

shall be stated in the Value column.
