Tandem Implementation Note. The session selector (the session field) has a maximum value
of 16 octets. The session address is the session selector (max 16 octets) plus the transport
selector (max 32 octets) plus the NSAP (max 20 octets) for a total of 68 octets. Selectors are
expressed internally in octets but are usually displayed as ASCII characters.
