Tandem Implementation Note. The initiator supports 7K PDUs for character strings with
MSLs from 32 to 7148. When the MSL is less than 32, PDUs must be shorter. For more
detailed information on MSLs and initiators, see the Tandem OSI/FTAM Programming Guide.
The responder supports 7K PDUs for character strings with MSLs from 34 to 4072. When the
MSL is less than 34, PDUs must be shorter. For more detailed information on MSLs and
